Choosing The Perfect Chair For Your Home OfficeToo often people simply use a kitchen chair for their home office and put up with it. Some odd individuals even use garden furniture for their home office. This has the double disadvantage of being very uncomfortable and looking extremely unprofessional if a client or supplier were to visit. It also has the psychological downside that internally you're not setting up a professional working environment so you may not take your work as seriously as a consequence. The other extreme is where the new entrepreneur purchases a $1,000 leather executive recliner with built in laptop or some other such nonsense. This is overkill and the extra money would have been better spent on other office equipment or just kept as a basic financial resource.Whatever chair you choose for your home workspace it should be comfortable enough to sit in for hours at a time without leaving you sore or restless. Continuous use of an unsuitable chair can and will lead to back, neck and arm pain and/or permanent damage to your back. |
